The Foundation, named after the jewellery designer

Françoise van den Bosch (1944-1977)

was founded in 1980. It aims to stimulate international contemporary jewellery design, provide incentives for the discipline and bring jewellery under the attention of an ever increasing wider public.
The Françoise van den Bosch Prize is awarded every two years, with work from up and Exhibitions and readings are also organised.

Since 1980 many people from both at home and abroad have selflessly supported the Foundation, for instance as jury members for the Françoise van den Bosch Prize, as advisors when purchasing the work of young talent, as board members and also in other ways. Without their effort, our work would be impossible.

We are also deeply indebted to the family of Françoise van den Bosch and our sponsors - the Friends of the Foundation, the SNS REAAL Fonds plus anonymous private funding.
