About Françoise
Françoise van den Bosch graduated in 1969 as a jewelry designer at the Academy of Arts in Arnhem. Her solid, well ordered jewelry attracted attention from the beginning. She soon became interested in designing objects, always based on simple interventions in the material, such as the pressing together of tubes. Her objects and jewelry are strongly related to each other.

She died in 1977, at the early age of 33, at the time she was busy organizing an exhibition about her work in the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the Van Reekum Museum Apeldoorn.
